L’occupation protohistorique (Ve-IIIe s. av. n. è.) le long du chemin du Mas Neuf à Nîmes (Gard) : tentative de restitution et hypothèses

Abstract : The increase of archaeological diagnosis and excavations along the Mas Neuf path in the south of the agglomeration of Nîmes (Gard) has brought to light rich but disparate documentation. This article aims to explain these discoveries and in particular to apprehend this portion of the protohistoric landscape between the 5th and 3rd centuries BC. If the main emphasis is put on the apprehension of agricultural establishments - organization, surface area, dating - the thematic summaries offer a dynamic understanding of occupations by favoring comparisons with reference sites. The proposed hypotheses, without providing definitive answers, question the nature of the human groups living in these establishments and the link they have with the ownership of the land.
