Le Néolithique final de Payennet à Gardanne (Bouches-du-Rhône)

Abstract : The rescue excavation of the site of Payennet (Gardanne, Bouches-de-Rhône) in 2005 uncovered only one ditch and two pits. Another isolated feature had been previously excavated in 2004. Though the architectural remains are not spectacular, the aim of this paper is to report the existence of two pottery and lithic assemblages attributed to the Late Neolithic, along with radiocarbon dates.
