L'habitat rural antique de Matic à Ousse-Suzan (Landes). Premiers résultats

The opportunity arose in 2013 to excavate an antique rural structure, build with wood and cob, after the reafforestation of a parcel. The prospecting of this parcel allowed us to discover others areas with hight potential near by this structure. The drillings established around it have permit us to confirm the importance of the site.

L'opportunité de fouiller une structure rurale antique, construite en bois et torchis, s'est présentée en 2013 après le reboise-ment d'une parcelle forestière. La prospection de cette parcelle avait permis de découvrir d'autres zones à fort potentiel qui avoisinaient cette structure. Les sondages implantés autour de cette dernière ont permis de confirmer l'importance de ce site.
